Reliance Communications ‘Simply Suvidha’ for Prepaid Mobile & Hello users
Reliance Communications is back with an exciting ‘Simply Suvidha’ value added services for its prepaid Mobile and Hello subscribers. Simply Suvidha enables the RCOM users to avail uninterrupted specific VAS without caring about sufficient balance in the account.

If the subscriber is insufficient i.e. zero or negative balance automatically he will get a credit limit of Rs 5 /- to Rs 15 /- without any requisition. The Suvidha credit limit is calculated based on following factors like Total Voice Usage, VAS usage for last six months & Age on Network.

If the subscribers outgoing call is barred then the plan goes invalid. For the new subscriber activated within last 30 days, the Suvidha limit will be zero. But there will not be any further upgrade on the above credit limit.

To unsubscribe from Simply Suvidha customers can send SMS “NCR” to 51234 (Toll Free) within 24 hours.

Prepaid phones could be charged 911 fee

HARRISBURG -- With an increasing number of cell phone users now buying "prepaid" phones from Wal-Mart, Target and other large and small retailers, a move is afoot here to have those purchasers help pay for 911 emergency services.

Since 2003, monthly bills that cell phone companies such as AT&T, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon send to their customers have included a $1 surcharge, which generates money for 911 operations around the state. A similar $1 monthly fee also is collected from users of land lines, or traditional telephone service.
